George Searle Memorial Initiative (GSMI) Home Start Application

George Searle Memorial Initiative (GSMI) is a rapid-response housing initiative serving Cornelius, Huntersville, and Davidson. It honors George Searle’s legacy by turning community support into real housing stability, helping families avoid displacement, meet urgent needs, and move from crisis to stability.

This initiative is funded by the Peninsula Community Foundation (PCF) and coordinated by Lake Norman Community Development Corporation (LKNCDC), which manages application intake, eligibility, payments, reporting, and connections to participating partners.
