For many aspiring homeowners in the Lake Norman area, the upfront cost of a downpayment can feel like a barrier to achieving their goal. We recognize this challenge and are thrilled to announce that a new Downpayment Assistance Program is now available and targeted for the Town of Cornelius homebuyers! The Town of Cornelius, in partnership with Lake Norman CDC, has launched a new Down Payment Assistance (DPA) Pilot Program designed to support homebuyers earning between 50% and 80% of the Area Median Income (AMI), who are purchasing a home in the Town of Cornelius, NC .
