Your Participation can Change Lives

It takes more than just buildings to help solve the housing insecurity epidemic. It also takes the hands and feet of people just like you who are willing to lend their time and talents to serve the ones in need within our community.

To this end, the Lake Norman CDC offers meaningful volunteer opportunities in several areas.

Welcome Home Team

Welcome each new Rental Bridge family to their new dwelling.  Welcome Home teams prepare welcome baskets and deliver them to families.

Property Projects

Use your handyman skills to assist a homeowner with small home projects – such as helping residents who can’t get on a ladder to change ceiling light bulbs or fixing a small plumbing issue.

Events

Help our residents celebrate a birthday, create a school supply drive, or help the Lake Norman CDC with a FUNraising event.
